We believe in the power of prayer, and have a conviction that the people of God must be mobilized both in the meeting of physical needs in our city, and also in contending for our city in prayer. In Jeremiah 29, God tells the people to seek the peace and welfare of the city they are in, for if it prospers, they too will prosper. While we recognize there are big needs represented in our city, we want to take ownership of our part to play in bringing renewal to the world. “My city, my responsibility”. So join us as we pray for God’s kingdom to come, and His will to be done, in DC as it is in heaven.

Step 1 - Pick a Prayer Parcel (or a few!) by filling in the Sign Up sheet, linked above.

Step 2 - Choose a day and time to walk, dividing up the parcel as needed and communicate the plan to those who will join you.

Step 3 - Go on your prayer walk and come back to the Sign Up sheet to let us know that it’s been completed!

“Your Kingdom Come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)

Pray for the people living in the area.

Pray for the safety of the area.

Pray for the young people and next generation in the area - for their protection, for their prosperity, and their futures.

Pray against spiritual attack and strongholds in the area.

Pray for the wisdom of leadership in the area.

Pray for the welfare of the area.

Pray for the schools in the area.

Pray for renewal in the area - both physical and spiritual.

Pray for the families in the area.

Pray for the specific felt needs of the area.

Pray for people in the area to encounter Jesus!

- Be smart and walk in groups where/if needed.

- Be aware of your surroundings at all times.

- If you feel unsafe, discontinue your walk.

- Pay attention and adhere to all traffic laws.

- Don’t walk alone at night.

- Utilize sidewalks and pedestrian paths.

- Drink water!
